[ She stares at it. Hm. ]
You watch these people fight? That doesn't sound very exciting.

[ he sets the game in motion again and quickly starts pressing buttons!! look at that, they're fighting and shit and using powers/doing cool combos moves, and suddenly there's words flashing on the screen telling Yata that he'd won. ]
See? You get to pick a fighter and then you have to beat as many people up as you can in a row, and they get harder to fight each time.

Yeah, go for it! [ he hands it over ] There's girl and half-animal fighters too, and you can change some parts of how they all look.

A few minutes later, she ends up with a character that looks like Yata. With... dog... ears... yeah we're doing this again

How do I play? Do I simply press these buttons? There are an awful lot. [ four... four is a lot when all she's had to do is cancel and confirm. ]

Uh, yeah, you move with this big one and then just press any of these four to do attacks. Sometimes if you press 'em in the right order they make you extra strong!

But wow, she wants her character to be extra strong. Are there codes to that? No, don't tell her. She wants it to be a surprise.

Why did you lose!? [ She's talking to the actual Yata, not the one on the screen. ]

He watches her play... and laughs at her reaction when she loses. Oops. ]

You gotta do the codes fast, watch. She's facing the left running toward the guy and then you hit the A button twice in a row. [ and just like that, the character jumps up to deliver kick from above. ]
And when they're down, you can't give 'em too much time to get back up or they'll use their strong attacks.
[ a couple combo moves later, and the words WINNER were once again on the screen. ]
If you wanna practice first I can make it do that and the other character'll just stand there, but you won't win or lose in that one.

[ Shakes him!!! Don't make a character that looks like her! It's embarrassing! But soon, she resigns to it for the time being and listens to Yata's tutorial. It makes sense... she doesn't want to practice, though. That's for losers. ]

[ Fistpumps! She's using the same Kougyoku character Yata made. What did he say again? A button twice while running? Well, what do you know, it worked. It looks like she's figured out a couple of combos herself. She finishes off with one of those special combos that take up the whole screen.

Yata, I did it! [ She shows him the words YOU WIN flashing on the screen. Now give her headpats like Tatara. ]

[ In his excitement, he gives her one of his world famous (no, it was one time...) half-hugs. It was really just reaching across her back to give her shoulder a squeeze super quickly.
If he doesn't talk about it the embarrassment doesn't exist!!! ]

Kougyoku is happy she was praised, but her uncontrollable habit of hiding her face gets the best of her once again when Yata touches her. She holds the DS up in embarrassment and peeks at him from behind it. Was he really that happy? She'll never get used to this. ]
